Bauxite, Residue and Disposal Database (BRaDD)

https://extranet-wf.minerals.csiro.au/BRaDD/
BRaDD is an online database developed to provide industry, government, researchers, and environmental groups with a one-stop, searchable resource containing all public information on bauxite residues (red mud), including their characteristics and storage, as well as details about the original bauxite from which it came. BRaDD is a deliverable of project ATF-06-03, Management of Bauxite Residue (Red Mud).

The Aluminium Task Force's Aluminium Measuring and Benchmarking project ATF-06-01 has released its first Benchmark Report. Work on the APP Aluminium Measuring and Benchmarking project has been incorporated into the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) annual data collection, and data has been compiled for a range of indicators across the APP aluminium sector. This project has made indicators available at an APP-wide level to facilitate the demonstration of benefits from other Aluminium Task Force projects. These indicators include: PFC emissions; fluoride emissions; energy usage; shipments used in transport; Spent Pot Lining (SPL) disposal; recycling rates; bauxite residue storage volume, area and rehabilitation.
